BSNL to Get 4G Spectrum from DoT Very Soon Last week, BSNL was in the news for all the wrong reasons. Firstly, a report emerged online stated that the government has asked BSNL to explore options including the closure of services since it’s the biggest loss-making entity for the government. However, BSNL rubbished the rumour by saying that the government is currently exploring options for BSNL’s revival and will continue to provide services. Earlier today, it was said that BSNL employees would go on strike from February 18, but the government again interfered and told to halt the same. In fact, the DoT stated that it’s looking to provide 4G spectrum to the government-owned PSU for the rollout of high-speed data services.
