Realme 5 to Come with Quad-Camera Setup and Sub-Rs 10,000 Price Tag In a new tweet, Sheth has revealed that the Realme 5 would be the first smartphone in India to bring a quad-camera setup to the consumers under the Rs 10,000 price tag. To recall, Realme 5 was slated to be a very attractive budget offering for the buyers, and it is obvious, given that Realme has dominated the budget segment until now. But, now with this tweet, we can confirm that the Realme 5 with the quad-camera setup, won’t exceed the Rs 10,000 price mark. It is also worth noting that the tweet uploaded by Madhav Sheth is quite elaborate, and it gives more details about the phones that are in the pipeline. The CEO revealed that the phone would also come with a “powerful Qualcomm chipset will launch in India for the first time.” As per the speculations, this chipset is likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 which has been previously spotted on Geekbench for Realme 5. While this chipset has not been seen in any smartphones in India, soon we are going to see two phones with it, by the end of August. The second phone to launch in India with Snapdragon 665 would be the Xiaomi Mi A3, which Xiaomi will launch on August 21, after the launch of Realme 5. Realme 5 Pro Expected Specifications and Features The specifications of the Realme 5 series have also been revealed ahead of the launch courtesy of a Flipkart micro-website. As per this new micro-website, the Realme 5 Pro will sport the Sony IMX586 48MP sensor. Besides this, the phone would feature a 119-degree wide-angle lens, 4cm focus Super Macro Lens, and a Portrait Lens. The Realme 5 Pro is also expected to pack the Snapdragon 712 SoC. This phone would also come with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. While the Pro version of the phone would definitely be a better option, the Realme 5 is expected to come with a 16MP primary sensor paired with an ultra-wide angle camera, a 4cm macro lens and a depth sensor. Realme 5 will also pack a 5,000mAh battery.
